Post by Kevin Nash on Sept 30, 2014 7:17:17 GMT
*Kevin Nash comes out of the private limousine, and looks at the WFL building, and than at Josh Mathews.*
"So, this is the place eh? This is the place where I'm supposed to work today? Well, glad to be able to switch to a new company, and find out what the competition is all about. I already know that my opponents are Bobby Roode and Mikey Poffo. By the way is Mikey has any connection to Randy Savage? Or is he just ripping off the name? As far as Roode goes, I known him for quite a while, and I am aware of what a great talent he is. But this is a new promotion, where the wrestlers start from scratch."
*Josh Mathews asks if Kevin Nash feels confident about his debut.*
"Are you serious, Josh? I'm always confident in my ability, there's no one that can be equal to my power and ability in the ring. There will be no 2nd Kevin Nash. And I'm here to give my last few years before I retire. And quite honestly, I'm glad to be back as an active wrestler, and glad that my doctors, who took great care of me, gave me the green signal to get back to work. I was working out a lot, and now I'm back to take over the world of wrestling once again. So, trust me when I say this Kevin Nash isn't going anywhere."
*Kevin Nash smirks and gets into the building.*

*Bobby Roode's music hits. He comes out with a determined expression on his face. Although he is remotely a face, he doesn't seem to take notice of the crowds cheering, or extending their hands. He gets into the ring, where he grabs a mic*
For those of you who don't know me, my name is Bobby Roode. But let's face it, quite a lot of you know who I am. Now, I am booked against two opponents on Friday, one of which I happen to know very well. Now Kev, I know you're listening. We've both had our successes in our careers; you founding and leading the NWO, me becoming the longest reigning TNA world champion in history. But you're right, this is a fres start. Which, in turn, calls for fresh talent. Kevin, although we may never have faced eachother, I do know quite a lot about you. I know your strengths, your weaknesses, and I don't doubt that you know mine too. As for you Mikey Poffo, I trust you've done your homework on the two of us. But lets face it, you're just a rookie. And I love putting down rookies! You know, some people call me the "It Factor of Professional Wrestling", a title I have now learned to accept. I have come into this business as a nobody, and proved myself in various companies across the globe. WFL will be no different. And in the future, I plan on becoming the WFL Heavyweight Champion of the world! And not Kevin Nash, Mikey Poffo, some ripped kid named Jack, some weird thiest, or Captain "Pavel" Birdseye will stop me! This is just one match of many in which I will compete, and though there will be some bumps and bruises on the way, I will take a huge leap over these stepping stones, and tred on any toes I have to to get what I want What do you say, do you agree? *This is followed by a chorus of loud cheers from the crowd. Roode smiles* I thought you might. See, THAT is all part of becoming and being... THE IT FACTOR!
*Drops microphone on the floor, mouths "It's already started!" and raises his hands in the air. His music starts playing, and he leaves the ring and goes backstage*

*The beginning rift of "Enter Sandman" plays over the speakers, while Mikey Poffo walks out sporting a blue flannel and a mic in hand*
For those who don't know who I am, I'm Mikey Poffo, and I'm the "Rookie". I have wrestled all over the world, and have come to WFL to show you guys what I got. This friday, I have a match with two men that have already made a name for themselves in this business. In one corner, we have "Big Daddy Cool Diesel" Kevin Nash. He's a 9 time WCW tag team champion and a 5 time WCW World heavy weight champion. And in the other corner, there's "The IT Factor" Bobby Roode. He's the longest reigning TNA heavyweight champion. And then, there's me. I've haven't won a major championship, but that doesn't matter. It doesn't matter how many "big gold belts" you have. It doesn't matter how many matches you won. None of it matters, because here in WFL wrestling, all of us start from scratch. Don't get me wrong, I highly respect both of you. But when that bell rings after the match, win or lose, you'll still say to yourself, "hey, that kid put up a good fight". Im going to give it my all, because no matter what happens in that match, I come out a winner because I can say I've competed with the best in this business. I don't care that I win, because I just care that the WFL community witnesses a fantastic match, and that at the end of the night, their chanting my name.
*the crowd cheers, and they begin to chant Poffo*
So I hope we have a fair match at Combat. I hope we can give a great show to such a deserving audience. But if you dare underestimate a rookie, you'll be in for a beating of a lifetime.
*Poffo exits the arena*
